Purpose
At ReviewDear, we are committed to upholding the highest ethical standards in every aspect of our operations. This policy ensures that all team members act with integrity, comply with all applicable laws and regulations, and refrain from engaging in any conduct driven by personal interest.
Gifts, Favors, and Payments (Provided)
- Any gifts, favors, or payments offered by ReviewDear must adhere to standard business practices, be of nominal value, comply with legal requirements, and not bring disrepute to the company if publicly disclosed.
- It is strictly against company policy to make payments, commissions, or any form of compensation to customer affiliates without a formal, written agreement.
Gifts, Favors, Entertainment, and Payments (Received)
- Team members must not solicit or accept gifts, favors, entertainment, or payments that lack a legitimate business purpose—particularly from individuals or entities currently doing or seeking business with ReviewDear.
- Acceptable exceptions include customary business courtesies and items of minimal value. However, strict caution must be exercised, especially regarding gifts from vendors or suppliers.
Conflicts of Interest
- Employees must avoid situations where their personal interests may conflict with those of ReviewDear and must disclose any such situations promptly to their supervisor.
- This includes personal investments in, or positions held with, companies that either compete with or conduct business with ReviewDear, or any other engagement that may compromise the organization’s interests.
Confidential Information
- The unauthorized sharing or use of ReviewDear’s confidential information is strictly prohibited.
- Breaches of confidentiality will result in disciplinary measures, which may include termination of employment.
Compliance
- Any violation of this policy will lead to appropriate disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
- Employees are expected to report any misconduct or policy violations they become aware of, without fear of retaliation.
Social Media Guidelines
Introduction
- Content shared on social media must reflect good judgment, as such posts are effectively public and permanent.
- All team members are required to adhere to the company’s guidelines as detailed in the Employee Handbook.
Be Mindful of Your Posts
- Employees are personally accountable for their online behavior. Inappropriate, offensive, or unprofessional content may lead to disciplinary action, including termination.
- If referencing ReviewDear, employees must clarify that the views expressed are their own and not those of the company.
Maintain Respect and Professionalism
- All communications should remain courteous and professional. Avoid language or content that may be interpreted as offensive, harassing, or threatening.
- Always respect others’ privacy and refrain from spreading false or misleading information.
Be Honest and Accurate
- Ensure the accuracy of any information shared. If an error occurs, correct it promptly and transparently.
- Any edits or updates to previously shared content should be clearly communicated.
Respect Legal Boundaries and Confidentiality
- Employees must comply with all relevant legal standards, including those related to privacy, copyright, and intellectual property.
- Confidential company information must never be disclosed or discussed publicly without prior authorization.
Report Violations and Concerns
- Any concerns about potential breaches of policy should be reported immediately to the Human Resources department.
- ReviewDear maintains a strict no-retaliation policy for whistleblowers reporting in good faith.
Plagiarism and Fairness
- ReviewDear has zero tolerance for plagiarism. Journalists and writers must ensure accuracy and fairness by giving all parties mentioned in a story an opportunity to respond before publication.
